Fantastic extension! But there is a problem: when I try to insert a special character using the numeric keypad (for example the character "²" - ALT + 0178) and in Quicktext I have associated the shortcut ALT + 1 when I type the sequence I am inserted the text associated with ALT + 1 and therefore I cannot insert the character "²"

I need some information: I use the [counter] variable to manage the progressive numbering of emails. Is it possible to set a starting value other than 1?

How can reset the counter (for example at the beginning of the year?)

I spoke to the Qnote developer and he confirmed the incompatibility. We tested a new version of Qnote which solved the problem and will soon be available to everyone

Sometimes when you open the "New message" window, the bar with shortcuts no longer appears (Thunderbird 78.3.2 32bit - italian version), you have to deactivate and reactivate the extension...

In Thunderbird 78.1.1 (32 bit) it is not possible to add the QuickText button to the toolbar, only show QuickText toolbar under the formatting one

[edit] same problem in Thunderbird 7.8.2.1 and QuickText 3.2
