Funktioniert für mich unter KDE/Plasma und Verwendung einen Haupt-Passwortes nicht, da Thunderbird im Tray nicht offen bleiben kann und ansonsten weiterhin Platz in der Taskleiste belegt. Die Idee wäre doch eher, dass die Anwendung im Tray schlummert und bei Eingang einer Nachricht eine Systembenachrichtigung senden kann. Das leistet das Add-on leider nicht.

This is useful, however there are some drawbacks. When starting, the window will pop up at first, and then disappear soon. It does not run silently.

if you are a Windows user, look for another minimizer addon. if you are a Mach user, this is what are you looking for.

Running on Linux Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Very please with this functionality, allows me to minimize Thunderbird but it keeps reading emails where I have filter rules running.

Doesn´t work at least on Ver 102 ?! Only at first install it minimizes. After restart it doesnt.
