need nextCloud/ownCloud server version check and alert for incompatibility (if it less then v16/10), otherwise it silently owerwrite existing files with same names.

ok. what about uploading different files with same names? or even same files without overwriting on server?
plan you using a timestamp prefix for filenames?

Version 3.2 does not overwrite existing files any more.

that is great addon and it work fine, but i have trouble then add SMB-shared files to email - filelink create a link for download but keep files attached... please help

+1 vote for "/download" suffix

The "/download" suffix is in version 3.1.

And I had a look at the SMB problem: It's a known bug in Thunderbird (Bugzilla ID 793118 ), not in *cloud, so I can't do anything about it. Sorry.
