The add-on description says the zoom issue it's a bug and that the bug was fixed Firefox 33 and I'm using firefox 39 so I thought that it should be ok. Regarding the zoom issue: Cant you make firefox load a new image when page zoom reaches some number or after pressing a button or key? That way the scrollbar will change size but as soon as it hits a very noticeable point it would get replaced with the new image of the appropriate size.

Regarding the customization on the custom v2 you only get the option of circles instead of buttons it could be triangles or squares or stars or hearts also maybe you can put the option for the user to select an image file for the buttons cap slider and background as a custom v3 so the customization can be endless.

Also the transparent setting on the custom v2 it always makes the background black and in this option and the transparent and transparent v2 option there is an outline on the bar slider that looks bad.
