TT DeepDark

Wurdearring: 5 fan de 5 stjerren

I've turned off TBird updates in the past...until a compatible DeepDark version is available then work got in the way. IMO this is the perfect dark theme for Thunderbird. Calendar and Address Book are easy on the eyes too. Very well done. Wish SR would come back to Google Chrome!

THANK YOU for the quick update, I'm no longer blinded by the white when I open TBird 12! BTW everyone, follow him on Twitter (@stefrosselli) to get his update alerts, that's how I learned about the update. From now on, I won't update TBird until I hear from Stefano.

This app rocks and is currently the definitive dark theme for Thunderbird. Unfortunately, TBird updates every 3 weeks or so lately so this awesome theme is now borked. Once this gets updated, I'm disabling updates. I'm really fed up with how Mozilla has been handling updates and theme compatibility. It's a never-ending hassle. To be clear though, Love the theme!

RealPrevNextButtons

Wurdearring: 5 fan de 5 stjerren

I'll never understand why TBird implements true previous/next functionality ('F' and 'B' keys) but provides no client buttons for it, bizarre. I'll be waiting for the 5.0 release unless I get accustomed to the F/B method.
EDIT: I just tried the ACR method and not only is it working for me but I see the button icons too somehow! (WinXP SP3/TB5) Kewl!

RealPrevNextButtons

I don't understand why TBird users still have to install an add-on for this functionality. Be that as it may, this add-on gets the job done in TBird 3.1 but on Ubuntu 10.04 the icons are incorrect. Real Previous is the Archive icon and Real Next displays the Compact icon. I tried changing to default Humanity icon set but same result. Icons look fine on WinXP and in both OSes the buttons work as expected. 5-star when icon issue resolved. Thanks!

Aquabird Black

Been using it for a LONG time. Any chance this will be ported to TB3? The glaring themes available are making me regret jumping on so quickly.

Aquabird Black

...a dark TB 2.0 theme that works for me. It's dark but no light text on dark background in the important text areas which I don't like (folder pane, list, compose, read). Despite needing some due diligence on text visibility issues I think AB is what I've been waiting for. Personally, I like the touches of blue which kinda surprises me. It's a complete theme and nicely done.

Suggestions:
1) Blacker black. AB looks almost dark gray next to my dark desktop theme versus black. Go 'all the way'.
2) More black. ex. buttons in Options, the tab bar in Options, the toolbar in the compose window.
3) Biggest issue...text visibility ex. 'View' in the main window's tool bar, items in the Customize Toolbar dialog, config param names in Account Settings (that's a big one!), 'From' and 'Subject' in the compose window. Ironically, the opposite problem exists in the Error Console which has light text on a white background.

Regardless, it's a TB 2.0 theme that harkens back to Black Japan and worthy of my dark desktop. Resolve the readability issues and this one jumps to 9/10. Work even more black in and it's a 10 in my book. Nice job. Thank you!

AOL Mail

Very cool to have some of AOL Mail's unique functions/features available in TBird. Well done.
