Mail Auth Info Viewer is a powerful Thunderbird add-on designed to combat sophisticated phishing and display name spoofing. It analyzes message headers and body content locally, presenting a clear, color-coded dashboard directly on the message view.

Only unavoidable situations (e.g., third-party infrastructure) receive a green badge. Anything fixable by the domain administrator is flagged as a warning. This makes the add-on ideal for mail administrators verifying proper authentication configuration.
Key Features:
- Authentication Dashboard: Displays SPF, DKIM, and DMARC pass/fail status with DMARC policy indicators (reject/quarantine/none). Individual DKIM signatures shown with signing domain and selector.
- Sender Identity and Alignment: Shows Display Name, Header From, and Envelope From side-by-side. Detects display name spoofing and Reply-To domain mismatches. DMARC alignment (RFC 7489) shown per authentication method.
- Link Safety Analysis: Scans email body for phishing indicators: deceptive link text, dangerous URI schemes (javascript:/data:), embedded forms, IP address links, IDN homograph attacks, URL shorteners, external-only links, and tracking pixels.
- Trusted Link Domains: Whitelist trusted external domains to suppress link warnings. Manage via add-on settings with text-based import/export.
- Delivery Route Visualization: Shows the email path from sender to inbox with time delays, IP type indicators, and Envelope-To recipient.
- ARC Chain Display (RFC 8617): Visualizes the Authenticated Received Chain for forwarded messages with verification status and authentication summary.
