Simple Timer

suppose i set the timer to notify me at 9:00 pm. but at 9:00 pm the
browser was closed. i opened the browser at 9:15pm. Now the timer
should notify me for 9:00 timer, because the task is not finished. But
it did not. can you solve this problem?
