Lars, unfortunately, Proton Mail is now giving an "unsupported browser" message for TB 140.9.1esr (64bit). This means the add-on is not working. It gives a link to https://proton.me/support/recommended-browsers, which includes Firefox as a recommended browser, but not Thunderbird. This simple add-on has been very useful otherwise. Unless TB can persuade Proton to upgrade its browser status, the add-on is not usable with TB140.

Hey Rick,

thanks for the heads-up.
I just tested the add-on with Thunderbird 149.0.2 - Proton Mail loads perfectly. Apparently, Proton has raised its requirements, and only newer versions of Thunderbird meet them. You’ll need to switch from ESR to the standard release channel.

Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s much I can do about that.
