This extension only exposes already existing functionality to the Right Click context menu in Thunderbird and Seamonkey. The shortcut keys for watching and ignoring threads are "W" for Watching threads and "K" for Ignoring (or Killing) threads.
Watching and ignoring threads can only be done for News, not for Mail or RSS feeds
By default, Thunderbird/Seamonkey hides ignored threads so that they disappear from view. To get them back, you need to select View | Threads | Ignored Threads from the menus. This should show them up again.
