I am obliged to use this add-on by Cardbook. Personally I would not choose for it. Now I do not know where my files (addresses) are stored and changed. In the original files in my file system, nothing happens when I change an address.
As I have my file system synchronized with the cloud, my addresses were synchronized on different computers. As I do not know where VFS-provider keeps my addresses, this is no longer possible. It would be good to have some more information. For now I am frustrated. I hope this will change. Otherways I will have to find new solutions.

The add-on allows you to continue to store files on your local disc without requesting full access to your computer. Cardbook is on its way to replace legacy components and to become less of a security issue by doing so.

The *system* behind the VFS providers also allows you to have even more control over where the files should be stored, because you are free to use any of the other available providers, and directly access your WebDAV or OneDrive storage, without having to go through the local sync stage (the tool you have to install on your computer to sync your "address" folder from the cloud to your disc). You can access the cloud directly. This is independent of CardBook, which just offers the new VFS interface.
