PixelGuard
Puntuado con 4 de 5 estrellas
I moved to Thunderbird from MacOS Mail and was looking for something to replicate the functionality of the excellent MailTrackerBlocker (MTB) by Aaron Lee. PixelGuard is a good attempt, but lacks some of the precision of MTB. Some of the images it identifies as tracking pixels clearly are not. However it does show each identified tracking pixel, non-tracking image and link in its detail view so that one can perform one's own diagnosis.
Mail Auth Info Viewer

This is a neat extension that provides a solid, easy-to-read analysis of all the security-related headers (Received, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, ARC) and also a basic summary of external resources in the body (links, images). Perfect for mail nerds and those wanting to understand how modern mail protocols work in their inbox. My one (minor) criticism is labeling unknown domains in body content as "suspicious", when they merely are unknown to the extension; perhaps a more appropriate adjective would be "untrusted"). The user can manually indicate the domain is trusted.

Developer needs to update soon for it to work when e10s is rolled out onto Firefox by default.

Thank you so much to the developer for finding time to fix this in response to the changes Mozilla made to FF49. Could not recommend more for Mac users who'd like Keychain integration.

One of those add-ons that one can't help asking oneself: "Why didn't the Mozilla developers include this in the base install?" It works exactly as advertised, providing perfect integration between the MacOS X Keychain and the Firefox password manager. Concerning to see it's broken for FF 49 and the developer isn't sure if they have time to update it — pleeeease somebody come on-board, or I might need to dig into Firefox code myself :-O Yes this extension is that good!

Like Firefox on Mac but miss the integrated dictionary lookup in Safari? This Firefox extension is for you…
