Great theme/plugin

It will be nice to be able to change the inbox list line spacing from some sort of menu instead "hacking" the root.css file.

The fix described in README works on Thunderbird 60. Just delete the theme file and install it again.

Fantastic dark theme, very modern looking as well!

Only complaint is that it's a very muted dark look, I would prefer a deeper black if possible.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.5).

I'll look for some alternative colors, I received some complaints about them. I'll surely change the gray.

This is the best Thunderbird theme! Nonetheless, can it be modified? Specifically, can the light grey color on the Mail Toolbar and the light grey color when composing a new message be changed to a darker color?

*UPDATE 11/13/2018*
This theme is a awesome! Conema's assistance on how to change the light grey color on the Mail Tooblbar has been great.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.5).

Yes, it can be changed by editing the userChrome.css[1] file. I received some complaints about that gray color, if you have some spare time, you could open an issue in GitHub for discuss a color change.

If you want a fully dark theme for Thunderbird, this is the one. With this last update, Full Dark is truly fully dark, including the search tabs and the Today Pane. It also has none of the niggles that plague the initial Monterail theme.
These themes should be installed by default with Thunderbird. They're that good.

If I could I would give this a 6 out of 5 stars.

The Monterail Dark and Full Dark themes look great. It's great that now there is an easy way to install the Monterail themes and that they work better with the Write pop-up.

These themes are essential to make Thunderbird look like an e-mail client for 2018 (also adopting a vertical view helps with that).

The developer is very responsive, polite and fast in addressing issues. He quickly resolved conflicts that did not allow to have multiple Monterail themes installed!

With 1.1.2 he polished the tab bar with maximized windows AND made the Calendar and Tasks sidebar adopt the dark color of the theme. And they look gorgeous!!

Awesome theme, highly recommend.

Although the light grey color on the top is looks a bit strange compare to the overall theme. I would use some much darker color (hope you will use too :D)

It works! Even though I installed Thunderbird on a different drive, the file I needed to find was in the C Drive directory mentioned earlier. I couldn't delete the file/addon on the back-end while another (the Thunderbird) program was using it. Followed instructions as best as I could and it works!

Merci !

Updated 15.9.18

Thunderbird is installing the theme fine now. Must be something to do with v60 or my setup.

A great theme, highly recommend!

(Works a lot better than the original Github version I tried. But less customisable.)

Hi BonsailGil! Did you install the userChrome.css version developed by spymastermatt? If yes, that version is not mine, so I can't resolve these issues.

For the installation problem, did you try the procedure that is listed in the FAQ?

If you have the time, I'd like if you would open an issue on GitHub with screenshot/issues/Thunderbird version, so I can better understand and enhancement the theme.

This theme is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Very smart and neat with a nice color scheme.

This is my favorite Thunderbird theme. Nice color arrangements, which help me make sense of the different sections of information. Also, the dark theme helps my eyes cause it keeps everything from feeling/looking too bright. White/lighter backgrounds hit my eyes hard and it's uncomfortable.

The gray color of the top toolbar and action buttons makes things look a little unpolished.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.3).

Hi Chris! The gray was the color in spymastermatt's original full dark theme, but I think that we can absolutely change it, if you have the time (and if you want), you can open an issue on GitHub (https://github.com/conema/monterail-fulldark) and discuss with other users about the color change.

It's sounds good!
Does this theme not apply to Lightning tab?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.1).

Hi KazeWind! For the moment the theme isn't applied to the lightning tab, but I opened an issue on GitHub and I'll work for adding that as soon as possible!

If you want be updated on the development, you can go here: https://github.com/conema/monterail-dark/issues/7

Edit: This issue is resolved with version 1.1!

How we can reduce the height of each line of the messages list , is too tall.
