Darko will make your Thunderbird messages dark.
New version 2.0 now brings a Scheduler!
Motivation:
Thunderbird 78 has amazing dark mode that works even in the compose window. But it doesn't work the message window (email body).
It turns out, it's not that easy to make email dark. There is often a lot of graphics and custom colors and it's hard to make it dark, yet still readable.
Solution?
Even though it's not possible to create perfect solution, it is possible to "invert" colors and shift "hue" so that it looks good enough.
And that's what I do here and the results are... well, you tell me :)

Privacy and permissions:
- permission "Read and modify your email messages as they are displayed to you" is used to inject dark CSS style to the email body
- there are no other permissions so addon CANNOT send or receive any data
