My Reviews
ReminderFox
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I don't know if it's Mozilla or Reminder fault. Since updated to FF 45, whenever I delete and/or change any reminders, both Firefox and ReminderFox hang for about 20 seconds. I cannot do anything until the process I am doing is done. Then everything is back to normal. I have many reminders each day and need to delete/change all day long. It's very inconvenient as well as time consuming if this happens all the time. Please fix it, either Firefox or ReminderFox.

First of all, thank you for fixing the icon issue. However, my other issue has not been fixed yet.
In the past, as I mentioned in my previous review, whenever I choose the option "Select Day", then delete one of the "Current and past occurrences", the other reminders remain in the windows which enable me to delete other current occurrences as well. But in the new version, after I delete one of the reminders, the whole list disappeared. I have either restart the Reminder window, or clicked the day in the calendar to bring back all other reminders.
I reverted back to the old versions (1.9.9.3) which brings back the option. but next day, ReminderFox updated itself to the latest version again.
So is it possible to stop ReminderFox to update itself automatically. I would like to use the previous version my issue is being fixed.
Thank you.

I agree with all the users saying that the latest update is a complete mess. I just don't understand why developers do not consider the user's point of view before releasing any updates.
The latest update has these problems:
1. Two icons in Firefox, one in Menu Bar and the other one in Status Bar. I only need one and would prefer in the Menu Bar. But it seems there's no way to do that. So I am stuck with two icons.
2. Whenever I delete a reminder of the current date, all the rest of the reminders of the same date are gone and I have to choose "Select Day" to display them again. In the past, whenever I delete a reminder of the current date, the rest remained so I can delete some of the rest as well.
The Help Section is completely out-dated, it does not even come close to the latest version. So you can't get any help from the Help Section.
I still love ReminderFox but just with the developer will fix the above issues.
Thank you.
PS: I would have given 5 stars if not because of the above issues.
Memory Fox
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I do not have any memory leak problem until I upgraded to 8.0. Now mine usually runs between 800K to 1.5GB. I have tried Memory Fox several times but just couldn't find much difference. Yes, the memory usage has reduced to around 500K but the PERCENTAGE of CPU usage is still around 50% which should have been around 10-20% based on the total memory I have. I have been watching the Process and found that FF fluctuates a lot after Memory Fox started, the Memory Usage remains around 500K but the CPU % ranges between 15-50%. That is odd. By the way, I am using XP SP3.

Thank you, Michael, for updating it so it's working now with FF 3.6.
Great add-on!
AutoCopy

I have emailed the developer of this add-on when FF 3.6 came out and asked him if he would kindly update it so it will work with FF 3.6. I did not receive a reply and so far no fix has been done. It's too bad that developers have to stop updating their add-ons in order to work with new versions of browsers. I do not want to install the "fix" that other users have recommended because I believe it's the developer's responsibility to fix it, not a third party. If the developer does not want to fix it, then we just have to forget this add-on and stop supporting it. What about when FF 3.7 comes out in the future, another 3rd party have to come in to find a fix instead of the original developer?
So goodbye "AutoCopy", I love this add-on when it is working and now I have to stop using it until the developer is willing to update this add-on.
