p0Wykop

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Improves site wykop.pl
This site is a gathering place for young elite of polish society.
Very cultural and troll free place.
Not like this barn of reddit that promotes world of multi-culti and abortions.
I'm so very proud being a member of this prestige club.

NetVideoHunter

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I don't wanna search for another good downloader.
I want it back!
Pls fix

Adds videos to download queue but with 0b size - downloads never finishes (and not even starts).

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.16.1-signed).

EdgeExtension

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

Currently it does:
* rebrands "Adblock Edge" to this "EdgeExtension" (no suprize)
* breaks displaying toolbar icon (!)
* breaks displaying "block" tabs on top-right corner of flash/java applets (!)
* whitlists urls containg "adbeaver" string (!)
* indeed it adds some undocumented feature connected with wihitelisting but I have no idea how exactly it works and in the first place why it would be useful..

(doesn't look trustworthy and probably should be avoided. But in the first place You know risk of installing unreviewed extensions from devs You don't know ... right?)

Private Tab

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

These days stumbling upon such Fx extension is like finding a golden-ass unicorn.
Most extensions I find are either "blah" or "hurray, another website-overlay" or "if only they fix..".

But Private Tab was the One I left in love in a long time. It already works, is useful, fun and, doesn't have a bug that no one else but You care about.

.
..
...
But waaait... here is where it gets better.

Remember that dusty feature called "Tab Candy" / "Tab Groups" introduced in Firefox 4.0?
How many people use it these days? How many even knows about it?

Nvm historical reasons, coz You might want to start using it now!

1) Put all Your porn in new Tab Group on private tabs.
2) Use hotkey " CTRL + ~ " to quickly switch between your normal & perv set of tabs
3) ???
4) Browse pr0n right under their noses without leaving a trace!
== PROFIT AS HELL!!!

PS1 Set "extensions.privateTab.patchDownloads" to "false" so they won't see Your perv downloads.
Open private tab "about:downloads" to see them! ;)

PS2 Also works as Ultimate Boss Key!
(except that he's probably monitoring Your web traffic anyway)

Private Tab

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have tested with 23.0a1 (2013-04-07) and it seems to work fine.
Is this info still valid? Because I rushed and complained to Moz guys and feels a bit stupid right now...

Scriptish

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Erik is certainly an active guy as a dev. But Scriptish hasn't received any updates over 7months, and v1.8 branch haven't even started, not to mention some bugs in latest firefox versions (GM_log).

What future?

Trueblock Plus

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The major dis/advantages of this extension for the time being are:

+ raises awareness among ad blocking users about the shady "non-intrusive ads" initiative and manifest disagreement to the idea!

+ keep an open option for full ad blocking extension

- first release of Trueblock Plus changes only ONE LINE OF CODE (except ext. name and id).

- not all "non-intrusive ads" code was removed - although feature is properly disabled.

- No need to panic. Adblock's "non-intrusive ads" (still) feature can easily be disabled so keep running those orginal builds for now.

(review v1)

Restartless Restart

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Yeaaah, finally a restart extension that is proportional to it's function!
It's the first non-Mozilla-labs restartless extension I stumble upon.

Http Response Replace 增强版

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Doesn't seem to work on 4.0 beta7.
Works on 3.6 builds.
Great idea, glad to see it continued.
DELETE key is bind to "delete rule" function. I think it would be good to chose something else here.

FoxTab

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

If You're looking for a unknown-purpose-bundle-crap (bundled with modified noAds code) to add to Your extensions collection this is a must!

Firebug

Stylish

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

It's a good old Stylish ( addons.mozilla.org/addon/2108 ) bundled with noAds ( addons.mozilla.org//addon/161634 ).

* I don't think it's supported by JB. If You want to support Stylish but no donate, You can always grab "official" Stylish+Facemoods bundlecrap.
* I don't see a purpose of noAds extension - certainly it doesn't block ads like name suggests.
* It's actually a modified noAds code ... at least it doesn't seem to work (no doubleclik ads were altered).
* It's not really malicious.. just pointless.

If You're looking for a unknown-purpose-bundle-crap to add to Your extensions collection this is a must!

Scriptish

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

OK.
Scriptish targets Fox 4.0 - were toolbar buttons replaces "soo oldschool" statusbar icons + are superior (just because can be placed were user wishes).
Statusbar can be left for Seamonkey or older foxes, but a toolbar button is something very desirable. :)

Hope this will always stay in active development :P

Scriptish

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

So far worked great for me but haven't tested it intensively yet.
It's great to see some improvements over "rigid" Greasemonkey UI.
Hope this will always stay in active development :P

BUG: on Minefield when trying to open options from Add-ons panel (about:addons) will cause freze.

Hide Titlebar

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Problems on multi-monitor setup. On dualview window stops moving right when/where cursor is just about to go into secondary display.

Google chrome extensions manager

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I would love to see it fully functional one day :)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1).

FlashCatch

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Not all flash videos - still some room for improvement. Lost in my personal hard test to catch movies from nfb.ca
Unfortunately I cannot see it better then other extensions working similarly (by catching links) like NetVideoHunter or CacheViewer. Except they are completely free and don't weight 1MB.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.2.1).

getFavicon

Rated 3 out of 5 stars

Probably can be useful (I used it once so far) but adding another icon to awesomebar is overkill. Adding option to context menu (like in "Launch Clipboard" for example) should be enough for everyone ;)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).

QuickDrag

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

For me it allows quick saving images. It's the only "drag and drop" extension that WORKS (properly save image) for me with image-links. On the other hand it lacks options provided by competition (DragIt, Easy DragToGo, not to mention DnD Zones). Can't get everything I guess ;)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.0.0).
