My Reviews
gContactSync
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Great add-on. Flexible in options, easy tot understand userinterface. I use it to sync my contacts between to PC's and my ceel-phone. I had and have some issues with syncing TB-lists to Google Groups, so decided not to use this.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.3). This user has a previous review of this add-on.Google Contacts

Hardly seems to work. Updates form both sides (Google and TB) don't reacht the other side of the ocean most of the time. Upredicatble behavior. Status bar reports 'XML-error'.
Potentially nice though, especially the option of choosing what to with Google Groups.

Nicely made and works OK for some I suppose. However in a business environment this add-on is useless. It solves incompatibilities between Google and TB buy changing the TB addressbook thoroughly. I don't like that at all. I think an addon should not change the addressbook; adding some fields is a different thing, but in this case the added fields are used in stead of the originals. So you don't have a way back! It appeared I lost all my address data when I removed the addon after syncing with Google. I know, you can leave old address fields filled, but be serious: I don't want to trade double editing in two environments for editing the same data inside TB.
Besides that, it changed all my phone numbers into something completely incomprehensibly.
I like Google Contacts better, but that seems to be disappeared. Anybody knows why? If you look very carefully on the internet you may find some references to add-on 7307, but that cannot be found here anymore.
Duplicate Contact Manager

Works great to clean up my mess ;-))
@ eureka1: if I put a contact in a list I do not get a duplicate, only a reference is made in the list to the original. Change the address in the original and it will be changed in the list also. Works great for me.

Works great!
We even use this to share contacts between office associates. Just make a separate contactsbook for the contacts you want to share, make a separate account on Google and install this add-on on every machine. Works better for us than the SyncKolab add-on because it can be set to send and receive updates automatically.
Funambol Mozilla Sync Client
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Excellent work. Works like a charm with my Nokia. The content of the custom-fields disappears however after a sync from TB to funambol and then back (reported at developer site), so take care.
Would be nice if mailinglists could be used to narrow down the selection of addresses to sync..
