My Reviews
ReminderFox
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Hi Guys,
Reminderfox is really a very helpful tool for me which helps me to organize my daily work. Some wishes i had for future versions. It would be very nice if the appearance of the notices field could also be configured. I usually have to type in notices to every entry in add to the calendar, and it is annoying to always have to open it in a new date. Also a very cool feature would be the possibility to create a new entry with the URL in it of the page i am actually on. I use the URL-Field on a regular base, so this would hekp me to automate to fill the fields a little bit more. Third would be the possibility to ( mainly ) Upload the entries to Google Calendar. I e.g. use Google Calendar as a central repository for my private and business dates. So it would be a nice feature to be able to at least upload dates created in Reminderfox to Google, just to have them in the "Big Picture".
Good Job.. well done ;-)
Duplicate Contact Manager 2
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Good approach, but the tool does not recognize that contacts can differ in more fields than names and Mail-adresses. E.g. i have merged the adresses from my iPhone and from Thunderbird into one new Adressbook. Now i want to combine the identical entries. Usually i have one entry from iPhone (with Phone-Number) and another entry from Thunderbird (with Mail-Adress) for the same person. My wish is now to merge these data into one. But Duplicate Contact Manager apparently doesnt "see" that there are entries in other fields (e.g. the Phonenumber related fields "Work", "Home", "Mobile" etc.) and therefor doesnt offer me these fields to combine.
