My Reviews
Attachment Extractor
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is a time saver-and-a-half. My assistant is out for maternity leave and being able to grab up all our invoices at once frees up half an hour at the least. That may not seem like much, but when you work 60+ hours per week, every minute is precious!
Being able to save them with several name options is helpful. I preface them with "Inv_"%date%_%time% to keep them grouped together, but also indexed so nothing overwrites or gets skipped.
I see that folks gave it low ratings because of a hiccup the other week. All I did was hop over to GitHub to let the dev know and voila! It was fixed within a day. And it's free. No complaints here, only accolades and appreciation!

This is Far better than dragging and dropping, or clicking and confirming, each individual email. It's bare bones, but it works.
There is a warning before deleting attachments from emails to help avoid that faux pas. Make sure to hit Cancel. I once did not pay close enough attention, and my emails were duplicated with some of the duplicates retaining the attachment (thank goodness), but not all.
It works well for me as-is. The only extra I ask for is the ability to set my own naming parameters as the default, rather than the program's options being there every time. I'm willing to pay that small price, though, for the overall convenience of the add-on.
Colored Folders
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Initially I was upset that Thunderbird once again broke Colored Folders. Then I looked over the release notes and they have instituted . . . colored folders! I sure hope they worked with, gave credit to, or somehow acknowledged all the hard work of Lab5.
I do prefer Lab5's fully colored folders, but I will eventually adjust to the outline in Thunderbird's native UI. I'm willing to bet the fully colored folders would look spectacular with the new dark theme.
Thank you, Lab5, for your work on Colored Folders! It has been a great help to me as I save up my dollars for cataract surgery. I was struggling to read the folder names and being able to instead look for orange, red, purple, etc . . . sure did help!

For my visually challenged self this has been of great help, and it's easy to use. I'm excited for the forthcoming update! Thank you so very much for the work you've done on this.
