I own a large mail service and have since 1996. I know Julian Height from Spam Cop even though we have often been on opposing sides of the table. Here is the quandary.

Way before Aweber and others our system would gather email addresses by the simple process of visitors giving them to us in a form along with other info like name, subject content etc.

When the submission button was pushed, our system would send a double opt in verification email requiring an action (click the link) to then authorize us to send them further email communications regarding whatever it was they signed up for.

Here lies the 'quandary'.

For years it has been a challenge constantly answering the complaints of spamming a spam trap. We have no idea what emails are and are not spam traps. We don;t enter the emails into a web form, the visitors do.

Does your plugin address this false spam report as compared to real spam threats from the criminal spam gangs in Russia and abroad?
