As regards Hindi, the keyboard layout lacks characters keyed in while keeping pressed the right-Alt button in the keyboard layouts: "Hindi Traditional" and "Devanagari - INSCRIPT". So some punctuation marks, Sanskrit numerals, and some others cannot be typed. Is there any limitation as to keeping from the right-Alt characters? It is in my knowledge also that punctuations marks and other symbols in the uppercase of numbers are not present in gurumukhi-InScript and similar case may be for rest of the languages. I wish you could develop a customizable IME add-on, in which we can go further and improve even the InScript layouts.

Could you perhaps build an extension like this for Thunderbird?

It would be great to have Ctrl-Space to toggle from and to the default language (usually english).

I was looking for something to enable members of my network http://wannabestudios.ning.com to easily type in Tamil. Indic IME is simply the best tool (only Firefox add-on?) for my requirements. Thanks and congratulations for this well thought-out piece of work.

Hi All,

I am using it for almost a month now. This extension is working fine. Has no issue with firfox or other extensions. Thumbs up to the developers.

Cheers,

Samyak
