I liked this plugin and worthy successor to Pre-Firefox 26 version of Download Statusbar.

However my only gripe is that it does not have the very useful feature from the original Download Statusbar which is the "Automatically continue downloads in the download manager when the browser closes". Please consider implementing this into this version plugin.

The reason I ask this is sometimes I have many tab windows open and Firefox is zapping a lot of resources and would like to restart the browser but I would be in the middle of downloading. The old Download Statusbar would pop open a small window when the browser is closed and slowly the resources would go down over time while I do other things.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (8.9.0.1-signed).

It is already there. You can enable feature by modifying extensions.downloadbar.continuedownloadsonquit preference in about:config.
