5-09 PM Saturday 24-August-2024 absolutely brilliant and perfect. my Artificial-Intelligence said to try "attachments extractor" first but it failed on so many tests and endlessly asks folder destination. Garbage. Not this add on. PERFECT OPERATION Zip files. DJ

I am extracting from e-mails that each have one .mp3 file. I found that if the .mp3 files have about 20 minutes of data it can extract at most 20 or 30 files. If more than 30 e-mails are attempted watching with Task Mgr I see it doing something for awhile but never creating a .zip file. If the .mp3 files have one hour of data the extraction proceeds for awhile but then fails even if I only give it one e-mail with 1 file in it. It looks as if there is a problem in creating the .zip file if the extracted file data is larger than some size. I am using Thurderbird 115.10.1 (32bit) latest version.

I was able to save only 100 attachments in 100 mails at a time. I think the add-on should allow for more.

Seems to do exactly what it promises : saves the attachments from multiple selected emails to a zip file. It is just a pity that it will neither delete for detach the attachments from the emails.

Congratulations to the developer for this very useful attachment. It works nicely and offers a good number of options for changing the generated file name patterns.
My only problem is that I have not been able to figure out what to use for the Month. The list of variables suggests %M but this already used for Minute.
Thanks a lot.

Great add-on, I'd like an option to not modify the filename when it's written into the zipfile - right now is prepends something about who sent the mail. I imagine this is maybe to try keep the filename unique, I'd prefer just increment a counter on the end if that happens.
