My Reviews

Nostalgy++/ Manage, search and archive emails

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Extremely useful tool for filing emails in Thunderbird (and it does several other things besides, but that's mainly what I use it for.)
Re the latest update being broken by changes in Thunderbird (2.3.1 with Thunderbird 78.11.0) the "disable-enable" trick as described by Opto has saved me from going crazy the other day, so thanks! :-)
Edit: latest version is 2.38, and the "disable-enable" trick is no longer needed, for my environment at least (Win 10 on a fairly fast Lenovo P310 Xeon E3-1240v5 workstation)
It still has a few bugs, but I'm giving the developer 5/5 for his dedication to the job. :-)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.3.1).

CardBook

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is an extremely handy address book for Thunderbird. I've been using it for a year or so, and wouldn't go back to the standard address book. I particularly like the ease with which it synchronises with the Google address book.
Keep up the good work, Philippe!
(And the fault "Issue with Thunderbird 78.5.1, no longer able to access contacts from the To field" mentioned earlier has indeed been fixed. Thanks! :-) )

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (54.4).

Phoenity Icons

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It's great to see that we can easily replace Thunderbird 78's rather plain "modern look" icons with something more like the earlier Thunderbird versions. Keep up the good work! :-)

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (3.0b8).

Tag Sequence Arranger

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Very useful tool. :-)
I too modified the "install.rdf" file so that this extension would work with Thunderbird 60 (mine is 60.6.1 at time of writing) and as far as I've tested it, it works fine. Thanks Piroli ! :-)
