Recomiendo este complemento para tu barra de búsqueda, es lo que uno necesita a mano.
Funciona genial. Nota: Mozilla Firefox beta 25b4, si lo queres agregar desde la página misma de youtube.com NO PODRAS!

Thank you very much, Rebecca, for giving me a You Tube search function for my search bar in Comodo IceDragon and Pale Moon. I've been looking, looking, and looking for a way to get easy access to You Tube like I used to have with Google Toolbar. I intend to mention this on the Experience Project and on a WordPress blog I will start. And, yes, it works.
