User Agent Switcher это дополнение, которое добавляет меню и кнопки на панели инструментов браузера для переключения строки user-agent при обращении браузера к сайтам. Позволяет маскировать свой браузер и операционную систему. Возможен экспорт / импорт настоек в xml.
Например, для просмотра видео без adobe flash (HTML5) следует выбрать User-Agent - Iphone.
Чтобы User Agent при перезапуске Firefox не сбрасывался на default, а запоминался, необходимо:
about:config
create new string value:
useragentswitcher.reset.onclose true
