About this Add-on
Provides a quick way to look up a patent at the USPTO web site through the search bar.
One can add a "keyword" to this search so a patent can be retrieved by putting the keyword followed by the patent number in the address (also called the URL) bar. For example, if the keyword is "p" then you can type "p 6368227" and pull up US Pat. No. 6,368,227 entitled "Method of Swinging a Swing".
You can assign a keyword in the "Manage Search Engines" tab in the search engine drop down.
