My Reviews
clamdrib
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Doesn't work with ClamWin :-( no support for extra database's for mail-based phising, spam, malware.
Good idea, but room for many improvements.
Expiry Timestamp
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Nice, but would be better if it could work for POP3 as well and if one could set an Expiry time for outgoing email
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.7).FullContact For Thunderbird
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Very promising and usefull extensions. It does suffer from several problems:
- Option/Preferences dialogue is located at the general Thunderbird Preferences/Configuration window. BAD BAD BAD!
- Lookup results are not cached in any way and are (too) slow to show up
- No option to scan your addressbook / specific email folders
- No link/connection to your own Rapleaf account
- No option to vote on contacts through the extension
Rate it a firm 3, but can easily get a 4 (see above points).
Message Level Authentication
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
Idea behind the extension seems nice, but way to bugged to be useful (and potentially harmful):
- marks all of my own mail as fraudulent, since it does not add required headers to outgoing email (after proper setup)
- does not recognize all mail-servers in the Return Path for the "Return Path Reputation Score"
- Does not save "Do No Scan Folders List"
- Pressing "Junk Mail Controls" in the Options window brings up an empty dialog.
- Stumbles/Crashes/Hangs TB on messages with malformed / compromised Return-Path / Received headers
- Authors do not reply to bugreports, though they seem to fix some of the bugs reported
