Provider for Google Calendar
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Looks like the TB update to 78.10.0 broke the add on again. Dialog to authenticate never populates.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (78.0.1). This user has a previous review of this add-on.Lightning

Ok, I've done some debugging and here is the error that is occurring when the add calendar dialog hangs and shows just a blank screen instead of the Google login:
[Exception... "<no message>" nsresult: "0x805a1ff3 (<unknown>)" location: "JS frame :: resource://gdata-provider/legacy/modules/gdataRequest.jsm :: fail :: line 232" data: no] gdataRequest.jsm:232:14
fail resource://gdata-provider/legacy/modules/gdataRequest.jsm:232
onStreamComplete resource://gdata-provider/legacy/modules/gdataRequest.jsm:338
openCalendarWizard resource:///modules/calendar/utils/calWindowUtils.jsm:25
doCommand chrome://calendar/content/calendar-command-controller.js:379
goDoCommand chrome://global/content/globalOverlay.js:101
oncommand chrome://messenger/content/messenger.xhtml:1
Additionally, calls the Google API to list calendars fails with error SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER. Could be because we never get a login dialog or it could be something else.
Clearly some bug needs to be fixed since the login dialog never appears.

Well, unsubscribing, deleting the add-on, re-installing the add-on, and re-subscribing to the calendar did NOT fix the issue. It gets stuck with a blank dialog where the authentication should be taking place.
I even un-installed/re-installed Thunderbird and repeated the steps above. Same result. Seems to be something about the existing profile I think. I did a completely fresh install on a Debian system with no prior profile and was able to add my calendar successfully. However, when I stopped/started TB, my calendars were blank and had to be re-added to get them back :-(

Just upgraded to TB 78.2.2 and Tbsync 2.16 and Tbsync does not show up in the Add-on Options menu. Am I missing something?
