YesScript
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
A thousand stars.
This add-on gives Firefox functionality that should already be built-in.
A site was giving me a migraine. I installed YesScript and the pain was instantly history.
Copy As Plain Text

[Edit]
The programmer responded so I changed my review from 1 to 5 stars. It's always really nice to get a responce.

[Original review]
The options are confusing and the add-on wasted my time. I couldn't get it to copy plain text into Excel.
After all - the add-on is called "Copy As Plain Text" and not "Copy As Plain Text (Only inside Firefox)".
TabSubmit
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
=====
To the programmer: my request is to force sites to give you the "real" url when you use TabSubmit.
Example: "dbopm :: Search results"
If I use TabSubmit - the link is always - http://www.dbopm.com/home/index/40 - I think that's a problem.
= The site makes "site searches" in Firefox's history impossible. Both the title and url are always the same. The title is always "dbopm :: Search results" and the url never changes.
= Search links can't be shared or bookmarked , etc.
= It's good (and useful) to see where you really are.
=====
To anybody reading this:
I sent the above comment to the the "Support E-mail" that's in the right sidebar.
If you like my request - you could leave a review or email the programmer. The more people ask the programmer for something - the more likely grant the request.

I think retardos' comment is confusing.
I set this up a few seconds ago...
disqus.com -to- http://www.google.com/
...I only tried it one site but it worked.
I use http://www.google.com/ for all sorts of sites since most sites aren't "surprised" by it.

2011.12.30 Edit
I rated it 4 stars ten days ago. The programmer addressed my concerns and added a toolbar button. Neat.

2011.12.20 Original review
Original title: Toolbar button needed
This add-on - as good as it is - needs an update to have a toolbar button.
I'm sure many people are like me - we don't use the add-on bar and we've exchanged all our icons that were sitting at the bottom of the window on the now dead status bar to be buttons at the top of the window - at the toolbar.

It's convenient but it has problems.
I'm using Vista & Fx 3.6.10

I have to use 0.6.2.4 because newer versions - including 0.6.2.10- have a bug that makes it impossible for me to create new scripts.
It's sadly easy to make the bug appear:
- Go to "Site Wizard"
- Click the "checkmark" icon.
The expected result that you've just created a new script and the options window appears. But, the actual result is: nothing happens. There's no way to add new scripts.

2011.06.04 A heads up about a AMO review bug
AMO just ate my review - so if you're reading this and you're about to write a review - create it in a text editor and copy and paste it in.
Sheesh. I guess Mozilla is spending 99.7% of their time trying to make Firefox faster. And ignoring everything else.

Your add-on doesn't work with Console². Is it a 3.5.4 problem?
Console²
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1815
The console has a limit how far it can be dragged from the bottom of the tab. The limit is not fixed and ranges from about from about .5 cm to about 3 cm.
And I don't understand why you don't provide an email or have a forum or something. You ask for suggestions but you provide no method to give feedback.
Leaving a comment here at amo is often a big waste of time. Oh, well.
Also this...

...makes no sense at all.
Heapr.com - Search Google WAY FASTER than Google.com
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Awful.
I would give zero stars if I could. It's about the most annoying add-on I've ever tried out. After one test search I was more than done with it.
I guess some people now have a 1/2 second attention span and can't stand it when they use a keyboard and flashy things don't appear on screen.
But - hey - don't take my word for. Try it online!

NightWolf1298 - thanks. I haven't even installed it - but I'm giving you 5 stars - since digger's been awol. And I've missed it.
I think when you upgrade it - you should give it a brand new name - say "Diggerplus".

Words pale. Just install it - and give it a try immediately at Google. Once you've used it - it makes being on the net without it seem like a black and white tv. With no remote.
As far as I am concerned - the functionality should be built into Firefox.

Version 1.2, released on Apr. 27, 2008.
Hey - you reading this! Somebody needs to make a new version. The siliconmethod.com is buggy with FF 3.0.7
As far as I am concerned gif control should be built into FF.
Somebody, anybody - please make a new add-on.
Snap Links [FF3]

Note - I am forced to give a rating - I haven't used it.
Snap Links [FF3] is badly named. A better name would be "Snap Links Plus" or "Snap Links II".

Linkify
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Could you allow the option that text like example.com can be linkified?
When I find text like this...
>> the is video at IWishThisWasClickable.com and the article
>> at IWantToClickThis.com and there's an audio sample at
>> NoThisisntClickableEither.net
...it's so aggrovating that Linkification won't turn them into links. I know many people feel as I do.

I love this add-on and kudos to providing a 'new' version of repagination.
But...
It needs to be updated. It often doesn't work anymore.
example
Comment links at nytimes.com - they are at the bottom of the page

I want all the comments to be on one page - but clicking "Next" only reloads the first page.

A real weakness in Linkification is that it can't linkify text links like these...

Let's see...
1
Your keyboard shortcut seems not to work. In addition - you extension is not really compatible with "keyconfig" or "functions for keyfig" - it should be. And I already use Cltr+Shift+K as a shortcut to manage my keyboard shortcuts with "functions for keyfig".
2
Your extension has no options - not even a few lines of "how to" text.
3
Your homepage is down.
4
It isn't just the code you have to consider. You have to consider the clarity of how you teach people about it.
Well, numbers one, two and three make your extension 0% usable.
It's really too bad - what your extension *could* *do* seems neat.
