Hey, could you provide an update for thunderbird 3? I would greatly appreciate that.

I guess you mean Thunderbird 2.x. Unfortunately, the answer is no. There is no way to do that with Thunderbird 2 (really, no way). I would have to create a completely different extension which I do not plan to do :). And basically, that extension would be Thunderbird 3...
