One of my favorite extensions! The version on this site (0.9.10.1) is unfortunately not compatible with TB 3.1.7. Get a compatible version from author's website (quicktext_0.9.10.3.xpi)

Very nice extension! Works flawlessly with Thunderbird 3.1.7 in Ubuntu Lucid Lynx. For a version compatible with TB 3.1.7 go to https://launchpad.net/openx and download gnome_open-0.9-tb_3.1.xpi

For Thunderbird 3.04 grab the latest extension snapshot here: https://mozilla-plugin.forge.funambol.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=160&expandFolder=160&folderID=159
So far I only tested it under Linux (Ubuntu Lucid Lynx) and it works great!
