Works pretty well. Doesn't redirect to some site just to process and log the URL of the video you're downloading, unlike some extensions! Best and simplest FLV downloader I've found so far.

Awesome. I also wanted to save screen space on my laptop after seeing what Chrome does on Windows.

The only problem is, I couldn't find this extension by searching the addons site because I searched for "status bar hide". Searching Google for "firefox hide status bar" found it, though.
