My Reviews
eQuakeAlert!
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
As someone who loves knowing what's going down with Mother Earth's seismic activity, this extension was a Goddess-sent little doodad!
But...I just upgraded to the new version of FF, so it's not compatible...boo!
Of all the extensions I've ever considered donating to financially, this is one of the first--and the most helpful if you're into knowing where an earthquake hits before the media do! ;)
Sun Cult
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Bravo! As someone who observes the Equinoxes, Solstices and Moon Phases as part of my spiritual path, I've been looking EVERYwhere on the web for an open-source, Linux-compatible, browser-based moon-phase tracker, and I found it right here--with solar info to boot! I give the developer four stars just for coming up with the idea and the last (fifth) star for making it available for us Linux-based FireFox users! Bravo, again! :-D

Rated 3 out of 5 stars
I love the look of this, but I sooo want it to be compatible with FF3, to which I just upgraded. I love Star Trek AND Firefox, so I felt disappointed at not being able to download it yet, so, for now, I'm going to have to give it 3 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I can't get enough of SpeedDial. Teamed with the Morning Coffee extension, it makes getting my internet-based work done that much faster.
As someone who finds alphabetization a timesaver in searching for stuff (libraries are my favorite haunts!), I think it would be over-the-top cool if the end-user could tick a box that says "automatically arrange links in alphabetical order once inside a group page."
Speed Dial
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Love the functionality of a cell phone's speed dial?
Want to prioritize your most visited sites (work sites in one group, play sites in another, etc)?
Speed Dial and its handier-than-anything toolbar icons is the extension for you!
I introduced it to my mentor-friend, who is an at-home business-woman with her "website antennae" always working overtime to find the choicest sites for at home business opportunities,
And she herself said she has tons of "favorites." So she rejoiced in the "savior" that is Speed Dial. ;-)
I, too, am rejoicing at Speed Dial's "quantum-leap" like feel, with the ability to make as many groups as I need, enabling me to prioritize where I go and what I do online. My work gets done quicker and therefore I'm more able to either take time to have online fun, or just sign off for the day.
Keep up the good work! :-D
Trailfire
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
This is good if you have time to kill by surfing and your organization needs are few.
However, I found it challenging to use because when I went to make separate category names for my trailmarks, one particular trailmark category or topic would appear under an obviously unrelated topic, and I didn't want that. I would love it if the creators would tweak it so the end-users could customize Trailfire so that it behaves the way regular bookmark category names do.
I only say this on behalf of those of us who have very creative, out-of-the-box tendencies and *desperately* need organization tools just to get along in an organization-obsessed world.
Sad to say, Trailfire, at this point, only exacerbates the tendency to get distracted.
