Since probably the "SUPERNOVA" UI update for TB, the developer has had to move the buttons to the tab bar. I have my tab bar set to automatically hide when only one tab is open. Thus, it's now very difficult to get at the Phoenity buttons. Not only that, but I can't figure out how to select buttons from what Phoenity has avaiable. I've had to remove the extension and gone with other ones to get the buttons I want on the Unified Toolbar instead.

Thank you for the button options. I would love to see 'Select All" and "Edit as New" in there as well.

Doesn't much change the look of thunderbird, useless. I wish Thundrebird developers would give us some warning before a big update. Now I can't change the look to the one I like.... l

Very nicely designed buttons and useful functionality. Developer reacts fast to inquiries!
If anybody is searching for a pure "Mark All Read" functionalty with only one click, here is how he explained me to do it:
The "Mark All" button marks all messages in a folder or newsgroup as read an then takes you to the next unread message.
To make this work without a confirmation you have to set mailnews.nav_crosses_folders in about:config to 0.
Thanks for this Addon!

Great add-on, even if you just want to have a more compact header for the mails.

Works nice ... I just wish there were more buttons ... all the button addons I used to use no longer work with Thunderbird anymore.

NEVER MIND. SUT. Problems encountered have nothing to do with this addon but with other addons added at the same time. (And forgot I had done so, so blamed this one. Unfairly.) Text withdrawn.
Go ahead and play, definitely worth the test drive.

for those experiencing the bug that emails opened in a new windows aren't displayed (body is nothing but white window) --> get the latest beta from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/phoenity-buttons/versions/
restart, then re-add your buttons. For me this bug resolved with 0.46b5 (but more recent versions should work, too). Dank je well, Dillinger :)

hey, i would give full 5 stars, but i lack only 3 buttons that i acctually need. I need minimize, maximize, and close button. The reason why i need them is because i use thunderbird on my laptop and soon on my netbook. so i need maximum vertikal space as possible. if i can place those 3 buttons(max, min, close) to the toolbar menu, then i can remove title bar from thunderbird window, and thus make a little bit more space. but that vertical space is much needed on small screens. tnx in advance if you make it possible, if not, well its still a good addon, but lacking features that i need
