My Reviews
Quick Folder Move
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Works fine in v68, but is broken in v91, the currently available version on the Thunderbird.net homepage.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.9.0).gContactSync
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This was a great product, until literally just now.
Thunderbird updated to version 78.3.3 and it automatically disabled gContactSync as incompatible. Please update.
Lightning
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Lightning, set to use my Google Calendar, is missing half my appointments. The same items show just fine on Google Calendar itself, on my iOS devices and in TBird via the ThunderCal addon.
There are no settings I can locate to change what is and is not seen.
Do not use if you need to see all your calendar items.
Google Contacts
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
When it works, it works seamlessly. However, it only seems to work when changes are made outside of TBird. Whenever I make an addition or change to a contact in TBird's address book, I have to fight with TBird and Google for the change to propagate out.
Also, it only seems to sync when starting TBird, resulting in having to restart the program anytime I've updated my contact list.
ThunderBrowse

Meh. I tried this add-on, and I fail to see the need for it since it doesn't add to the message viewability. I click a link in an email, and it opens in my default browser, no problems.
ThunderCal
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This mostly works. When creating a new event on Google Calendar via ThunderCal, it always defaults to an all-day event even though I have Google Calendar itself (via the web browser) set to default to an hour duration. And the view via ThunderCal does not give me the ability to access my Google Calendar settings.
Lightning

I like the look of Lightning, but it's showing my Google Calendar as "read only" which renders the entire add-on useless to me.

Needs more field mapping or the ability to just use the fields on Google. I have some contacts with two "work" numbers on Google, and only one shows up in TBird.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.41).Dark-Bright Aero
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
After reading some of the reviews, I took a look at the referenced theme, and even the description is a copy&paste job.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0).Print pages to Pdf
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
On almost all pages I've tried to use this on, it does not work right. It is either saving completely blank pages or with a page and a half of whitespace before the page content. There also needs to be a way to prompt for a save location (which would default to the last-used directory).EDIT: Dev replied that there's a bug with it with FF18, he's working on it.EDIT 2: I misunderstood a setting that caused part of my initial issue. The leading blank page is from setting it to include a Table Of Contents, I was expecting it to create a TOC that shows in a sidebar of the PDF viewer.
EDIT 3: Most images do not print even when set to print them - both foreground and background images.
Compose for Thunderbird
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Installing this add-on completely removes the ability to start a new message from within Thunderbird, and clicking on a Mailto link from outside opens the default composition window. Using TB 17.x
Quickfile
Rated 2 out of 5 stars
It interferes with the functionality of the "mark as junk" command - with this extensions in use, "mark as junk" does not move the junked messages to the Junk folder.
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
