FileLink Provider for Box

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is update of my prior review. FileLink was updated in Oct 2021 to work with TB91and works great. Does just what I need. Thank you for the update and keeping current.

I have been using this since TBird 78. Seems to work well in TBird 91. Simple and does what it should. Hit the red start and the mail list reveals all the individual email addresses.

On curiosity that I hope Graeme can explain or fix, is that I cannot figure how the Add on determines the sequence of the names listed. They do not appear to be alpha by either first or last name. I would like to be able to control the sequence of names once expanded, other than having to drag them to a new position in the list.

Used to work great in TBird up thru 78. I just upgraded to V91 and this no longer allows me to link to my Box account. I hope Geoff can find the time to update it.

Edit Email Subject (EES)

I'm giving this a "provisional" 5-star rating. The provisional status is because the E hotkey appears non-functional. I am in 78.6 and it does not work. I went to the developer's GitHub site and also see many complaints there regarding this issue. Please add a Hot Key! How about using Ctrl-H which was the one that worked fine on the Add On this is replacing, namely HeaderTools Lite?

On the good side, this Add On does just what it says it will. I was waiting to move toTBird 78 until I had a replacement for HeadTools Lite and this is it. I prefer running it with its default option of making only local changes disabled. That is easy to do with a click on the Add On page. I find this a necessary tool for TBird. I'm surprised it is native to the program.

Thank you for creating this Add On. I like it so much I have already made a contribution as the developer has asked.

Works well. Use it often. Sometimes however it fails to upload the file to Box and I have to close out TBird and restart.

I see it says 68.2 - * I presume this means it works in the new 78 version. Is that correct?

Header Tools Improved

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I have been using this since February. I still love it. Can't do without it and now of course TB is updating to v78. Will you be updating this as well or must I stick with v68 for now? Thank you for considering.

Header Tools Improved

Thanx so much. Now I can upgrade to 68. But I only found this because an sfhowes posted an answer to my request in the forum. I cannot figure out how to find it from scratch by searching in the Add Ons catalog. What is that?

Edit Email Subject (EES)

This is easy to use and works great, except as it says it works on only the local database. So unlike HeaderToolsLite that changes the actual header subject, the changes here will not show up on other devices you may have that are also running Thunderbird. So if I change a subject for an email in my inbox it only shows up that way on my local machine.

My wishes are that the actual email would be edited instead of just the local database and that this add-on be updated for Thunderbird 68. The ability to edit header subjects is very important to my use of Thunderbird and because v68 has broken this for existing add ons I am currently choosing to stay with v60.
