Please create a version that hides those 2 folders:
-Junk folder
-templates folder

Simply doesn't work. No instructions for HOW it's supposed to work, and nothing I try shows any kind of options.

Did not work for me. I have Unified View set, but the individual inboxes still show under it, even after restarting Thunderbird (v. 102.9.1 64 bit).

Useful add-on, thank you!
As it's written in the description, it works perfectly for Unified folders view. Is it possible to hide the folders in Unified View and at the same time leave them in All Folders view?
My target is to leave the All Folders view as it is and just add merged "Inbox", "Sent" etc folders from "Unified View" to overview mail in all boxes when it's needed.

This is a great and criminally underrated addon for people who want a slicker Thunderbird look and have many email accounts. Compact View in TB still shows individual accounts so that you don't miss directories individual to each account, but this pretty much defies the Compact View objective, and the UI remains cluttered. With this extension instead you only have the main folders (Inbox, sent items, ecc.) and finally TB looks great and clean. Instructions are not clear enough IMO though so I had to take a look at the source code to really understand how this works, but this is the gist: you must be in Compact View AND all of your email accounts NAMES must have a '@' somewhere, like "User @ Yahoo". In this way they are hidden. If for some reason the addon stops working correctly after a TB upgrade (for instance hiding everything), just reinstall the latest version.
