My Reviews
NewsFox
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I've been using this for years, and it's been pretty good. The interface has remained a wee bit conservative, but quite functional.
Unfortunately it doesn't work under Quantum any more. Please port it to the new system. It's one of the very few things I'm missing from pre-Quantum times (Flym on my smartphone will do as a replacement for now).
I just made a donation to Andrey to this effect, but the PayPal form had me choose the amount myself. It would be nice if some sort of an estimate was made to tell us how much more money would be useful in order to get this work done.
Transliterator

I use this occasionally to transliterate blocks of text, and it's very useful.
For better or for worse, it's also geared towards native Cyrillic users in that it uses the F2 key, and it's happened to me that I've pressed that accidentally over the location bar and gotten rather confused when I couldn't "escape" from it (until I stumbled upon the fine manual). Other than that bit of nuisance it's fine.
NewsFox
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I've been using this for years now, and I have no intention to switching to anything else. I was drawn to it by the very clean interface, perhaps a tad too rectangular for today's standards, but supremely useful nonetheless.
The lack of an automated sync option is a bit of a nuisance, but easily fixed by occasionally exporting the OPML file and putting it up on a private website and importing from there in other Firefoxes.

The page load timer is a must-have, and the ability to fine-tune HTTP and DNS behavior is a bonus.
