Search Add-ons for Firefox
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
This is the second add-on I installed after Tab Mix Plus. I agree with a previous post, this should come default with Firefox. It makes it so much easier to get new add-ons.
Fierr
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I just put Ubuntu on a USB thumb drive, and I'm trying not to weigh down Firefox with too many add-ons. This add-on is going to make the cut. It tries to automatically reload, offers suggestions about what the problem may be, and it's purrrdy too!! Fierr doesn't really do much, but once you get used to it, not having it really detracts from the user interface.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.8.1).Acronym Finder
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I got this add-on to make reading tech blogs and foreign news easier to understand. I needed help with some of the 'common knowledge' acronyms. This thing ROCKS! Sometimes I check it out on some very uncommon science and medicine acronyms and sure enough the definition is there!! I've added a few that weren't there, but I almost never get that privilege :)
I definitely recommend this add-on.
