I find this addon very useful and was really pleased to see the links to the updated version for use with Thunderbird 7. In answer to the query about using the addon in a filter, I don't know if you can use Mail Redirect but there is another addon that will do a redirect in a filter, it's called RedirectFilter.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.7.4).To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
