gContactSync
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
An excellent add-on for users of google contacts. Works without any problems.
Supports up to four e-mail addresses.
Detailed settings are provided.
Most importantly, the developer has sufficient help and troubleshooting text at the web site (see the wiki).
He also provides excellent support through the forum at his web site.
Google Contacts
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
The extension works without problems, you get bi-directional sync with google contacts.
Latest updates fixes a bug with multiple e-mail addresses. Previously, only a few contacts int TB would get 2 e-mail addresses from google. Now, first two addresses from a google contact is definitely imported into the TB contact. (Two addresses is a TB limitation)
Some cons:
- Thunderbird crawls while the extension is syncing.
- There is no "sync now" button --> There is a "reload" button, available in "Customize..." box.
gContactSync seems like a better alternative.
IdentiFox
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Best way to use identi.ca "open micro blogging" site. You can see the people and groups you folow, and your replies. The extension allows you to see your private messages and reply to them, you cannot send "new" messages tough.
It shows your "unread" count next to the icon. It also has a button to paste current web site into your current posting.
View Dependencies
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It is very useful to see a web page's dependencies, and their sizes.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.3.3.0).To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
