Does precisely what it promises. Nice. Two thumbs up.

It's just an annoyance for the lack of option to display the password upon typing. It is good for you to identify the typo in case your password is very complicated.
What I only want is an option to display the Master Password, but not all password fields. So, one password rules all without a great compromise in security in combination with Secure Login.
Why are there several strange 1-star reviews at the bottom? Do they know a "cancel" button is always with the master password prompt? As clicking cancel will not have any negative effect on the password protection mechanism, unless the password is filled in, no one can access the password database.
Also, please update this for the Firefox 3.5, so more people can benefit from this addon.

Clean code... :) But I think the addon prepared by me solve the problem in a more user-friendly manner.... It has a cool small icon on the lower left corner.. I suggest you should improve your addon on that line...
Best of Luck!!!

Your addon displays passwords in forms - this one here covers internal passwords requested by PasswordManager.

Press Cancel and enjoy the mail
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.2)....but this extension does not change anything to the CANCEL button!
The default behaviour should be, that every password is NO protection againt starting the application - but you should get no access to stored passwords (when cancelling the Master Password) or do not receive any mail (when cancelling mailbox password)...

Great Add-On - waited way too long for it.
Though it would be even cooler if the cursor would jump back into the password etnry after you checked "Show password"

Thank you for this! It removes a small annoyance from my day.
Hiding the password from myself (I work alone, no one around when I access my computer) has always struck me as absurd. Maybe if I was one of those "multiple personality" types -- !
Thanks again.

This works with SeaMonkey 1.1.7 as requested in bug report #232050.
I originally reported that it does not work with SeaMonkey. Foolish me! I forgot to terminate and restart SeaMonkey. It does work, and I feel stupid.
The code was peer-reviewed by Nils Maier as repored in the thread "Extension Needs Review" (started 25 December 2007) in .

I personally don't see the point in having a master password that one cannot type correctly.
But this extensions seems to be valid. The code does not contain anything harmful, just switches the type of the input field on toggle.

If you don't have other eyes watching you, this is a good solutions for the ones like me that don't press always the correct buttons on the keyboard :-)
