Works, in that Lightning is displayed in a separate Window, as it really ought to be from a usability perspective. However, other Lightning extensions, such as Lightning Calendar tabs don't work. That's a pity, and I won't be able to use this otherwise fine add on, until that is sorted.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6).

This should be fixed in those extensions instead. Firstly, they don't know about Lightbird. Secondly, even if I could do some hack to load them on the Lightbird window instead of Mail window, they will fail because the UI is different.
So, that's impossible, sorry. It's just the way things work, same as Firefox extensions don't work on SeaMonkey unless ported or converted.
