Hi,
nice addon which I like to use.
Sadly in newer TB versions it is supressing the line which allows me to show external content - so I must deactivate it now...:

There are so many add-ons that all offer similar features, but this is one that's been implemented in an original, useful, and intuitive way. I got used to using it almost immediately, and I have quickly become quite dependent on it.
Version 1.0.6 works fine in TB v24.2.
It is a bit slow to respond after you've clicked, but this wasn't helped by the the fact that I mostly use it on an IMAP folders. It would obviously be faster on locally stored folder. At least the status bar gives an indication that it was searching.
This extension is now going to be one of my 'always install' extensions whenever I'm setting up Thunderbird.

With Thunderbird 31.0 FollowReply prevents the appearance of TB's native "external content warning" bar which appears below the the header of HTML-formatted messages containing embedded content (e.g., images). The warning bar is used to allow the activation of external content from known and presumed safe sources. Turning this addon off brings the warning bar back.

This nice addon does not not work from grouped folders. For example, clicking on the reply arrow doesn't initiate a search and results in the error (shown below), but if you change to the Inbox of the account, it works!

This sometimes does not work. FR generated this error output on an IMAP message in the Group Inbox:
-----
Fehler: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80004003 (NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER) [nsIMsgDatabase.GetMsgHdrForKey]" nsresult: "0x80004003 (NS_ERROR_INVALID_POINTER)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://followreply/content/followreply.js :: <TOP_LEVEL> :: line 27" data: no]

The reply is in the IMAP Sent folder and is found when FR is started from the account Inbox. FR works on most other messages when started in Grouped folders.

Very nice, indeed, even if exceedingly slow on IMAP accounts having a lot of folders. The performance could be improved by being able to specify which folders should be searched for replies and a possibility to cancel a lonnnngggg search.
It would be great to see this developed further!

Chez moi (TH 9.0.1), ce module ne fonctionne pas.
Rien ne se passe quand je clique sur l’icône violet "Vous avez répondu". Dommage !

Yes it's a bit slow, but it does what I expected and that's fine!

very slow and opens multiple messages instead of the expected single reply message
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.4).Slow in IMAP, can't do anything for this. If there is multiple messages, it's probably because you have virtual folders or filters that copy your replying message in several places ! Further improvement could be an option to only display once a message with a specified ID, but the add-on can't invent which copy of the message you search !
To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
