Hi,
Great add-on but I'm facing one issue same as Avishai.
When I put mention in the middle of at the end of line. Whole line disappears and only mention is present. Could this be fixed?
Thanks

works well, thanks for contributing!

I have 1 issue and 1 request:
* if I write text, put @foo in the middle, and select the contact - it erases all the text starting the sentence :-| Can this be fixed?
* request: TB has this very cool logic that suggests the most popular email recipients in To/CC when I start typing - the extension doesn't, and show very very long lists (including obscure people who contacted me years ago); can the @mention list be sorted by the same TB popularity metric?

It works on 115.6.1 and it does what it claim..
Just some feature request..
1) it add every mention to A: ... is there a way to choose if add the contact do A: or CC:?
2) Is there a way to have a setting menu to set address book to point to or other aspect of the plug-in?
BTW Great job!

It looks and works fine with TB 115. However, it seems it can only recognize the contacts from the built-in address book. It doesn't recognize Cardbook contacts. Since thousands of people use Cardbook (needed for example, for email lists+google contacts), it would be nice to add the support for it.

Works perfectly. Had an issue with it not working with replies, but found out that if I click within the editor first, it works as expected. Thanks!

Just downloaded this Add-On... Can't get it to work in TB 102.7.0

It functions with "New Mail" and "Forward" perfectly, but not with "Reply", which is much more important, i think. I mostly mention someone, when I reply to an E-Mail. That should be fixed.

I debugged it a bit and there are two problems:
- You need to click into the editor area to make it work. Same is true for "New Mail" and "Forward" by the way. If you navigate via keyboard, the extension will not receive key strokes.
- Even if you did click into the editor area, the popup will be rendered at a wrong position (mostly likely).

The second problem is easy to fix, but the first seems to me like a bug in Thunderbird. The event listeners simply to not fire until you clicked into the editor area.

Simple and functional. It works smoothly in the updated TB 102.6.0 (64-bit).
Thanks for make this plugin available. It is very useful.
