Element Hiding Helper para Adblock Plus

Puntuado con 5 de 5 estrellas

This is actually quite helpfull for elderly people. If my grandparents get 'dazzled' by a page ("what if I misclick and the computer EXPLODES?!"), I just hide what they don't need and present a much calmer page to them. Yeah, I could use other addons, but the less 'fancy gizmos' in their browser, the better. Sometimes the best way for you isn't the best way for someone else, and if it works, why not?

Some people don't seem to get the point of this fork. It is not about adding shiny new features; its about restoring a good-addon-turned-bad to it's former glory.

Do I have a problem with supporting small websites? No.

Do I have a problem with installing something called 'addBLOCKER' that uses an option-out system in order to live up to its name? Yes.

Do I have a problem with said addon if it claims this is needed to protect small websites, when this apparently includes Amazon and other websitegiants that are notorious for disrespecting userprivacy? You better believe I do!

This is not just a fork; its a signal that some of us won't sell out that easy.

Ive been looking for a long time for something like this :)

What would absolutely make it perfect is some way to also remove leftover files and folders from the profile folder in user/app/roaming in windows. I have no idea if its possible, but a suggestion cant hurt ;)

A search engine plugin to search plugins that you can use for searching by adding them to your search engine plugins.

Some would call this an add-on... I call it a work of art.
