I do like this extension, It's very useful, but like a previous reviewer, I also find it very difficult to use when I want to change the highlight color.

Also a Suggestion: DO NOT highlight the spaces after a word.

When you double-click on a word with a space after it, Thunderbird includes that space in the selection. Then, when you apply styles to that selection, the styles get applied to that space! Who wants to underline the SPACE after a WORD???

This extension has the same problem. Who wants to highlight the space AFTER a WORD???

Perhaps make it an option to ignore space after the end of a word?

Dear Mark,
I don't want to impose something on the user: some may want to highlight space(s) after a word, some may not. Therefore the Add-on highlights exactly what is selected.
Thank you for the proposal to make it an option to ignore space(s) after the end of a word - I will work on this.

The new version 7.1.0 now contains the option to ignore trailing space(s).
