I don't understand why TB reports that it's not compatible with TB 93. I've been using it for a long while and I guess it just continues to work with each updated version.

Seems TB 78 has a own selection field now.
But yours was more nicer. :-)

I can't judge because I installed it, I restarted TB, I even restarted the PC, but it didn't appear to me. yet TB tells me it is installed and active. Solutions?
I had this problem and Michael teached me how to solve it.
A improvement i can advise you, when you choose "selected" let it be for all the accounts on tb, not only for the one you are working on. If someone needs checkboxes, he needs them whenever he works
Right-click the column head and select "Selected" from the drop down menu to show the check box column. I'll add this information to the documentation.

Very nice; would be even better if check mark appears only when you click the box (i.e., not when you click the message to open it).

This addon has inspired select functionality to be added to core Thunderbird in v70+. Pick column Select Messages from the columnpicker.
Also included is 'no unwanted selection', meaning unselect in the column will prevent selecting anything in that folder on junk or delete or other message move actions.

Circle should outline white colour. Dark mode makes circle like invisible.

Works perfect, and is great even in non-touch screens to select multiple e-mails.

Of course, multi selection function is good also.

This does exactly what I want. Except, when you take the action on the selected items, you're left with an email selected. So, say I select 4 emails to delete. That happens, and when finished, the next email is still selected. This seems incorrect to me and could lead to unintended actions being performed.

Sadly its not available for the latest versions of Thunderbird
This would be the ideal addon to migrate a user from a webmail client with checkbox select and bulk function application
I will grade it as a 4 for now!
I've updated it for version 52.

lacks release clamping LMB
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).Can you elaborate on what specifically is missing? Ideally, open an issue on GitHub. Thanks

Very useful. I would give it five stars if the developer could reduce (or let me know how to reduce) the size of the icon in the threadpane. Thanks in advance.
PS: Thank you for your reply. It seems that there was a misunderstanding; I was inquiring about reducing the size of the icons in the threadpane. I figured it out in the end: reduce 16px to 12px in style.css. That works fine, but it would be nice to have it as an "official" option. I also agree with the previous reviewer's points 1 and 2, which don't appear to have been addressed. Thanks again.
Thanks. Here's how you can use small icons: Open the list of add-ons by clicking Tools → Add-ons. Click Options in the row for Checkbox column. Clear the "Large Font" checkbox.
