Does not do any of the downloading and converting on the client side - instead it takes you to their site, with ads on it, where the conversion occurs. It's a decent service and this is not necessarily going to be a downside to most people, just worth knowing.

After installing this in Firefox, Firefox remained in US-English mode and I could not figure out how to change it. There is no preference in the Options dialog for it. Eventually I had to Google to find out how to change the spell check language. I do not appreciate having to do this simply to change my spell check language.
Eventually I found that you have to find a text box, right click in it and select "Languages" to change the language.
I know it's Firefox's fault for making this so undiscoverable but surely you could include install instructions on this add-ons page.
