phil, this add-on seems to do what it's supposed to (for me and everyone else apparently). You seem to be confused... perhaps you were looking for the Saved Password Editor add-on? (The toolbar buttons for each add-on have a certain similarity, so maybe that's what has you confused?)
The only problem I've encountered with this add-on is the issue with the "standard" size (as in, not checking 'Use small icons' in toolbar customization panel) button being so large that it stretches the tool bar (and the other Fx buttons) vertically--I mean, the 'Back' button is no longer round (looks really weird) with this on the nav bar (which is the "big" bar). That's why only 4 stars... till it gets fixed. Even so, I might have given 5 if the dev hadn't said "that's not a bug" [sorry, yes it is]. The newer versions of Firefox have different standard button/icon sizes than the previous versions, so that needs to be worked on here.
UPDATE: OK, 1.9 takes care of the too large button/icon. Coolness. Thanks. 5 stars it is!
thanks for the 5 stars! :)
OK, so now that this is fixed, lets move on to new features... Eventually I will have to come up with an even easier way of using it, something like an on page control, but that is going to take some time. In the meantime, you can suggest new features here:

Phil's review went like this:

There are NO instructions for loading websites into this program. It "found" a user/pw for only one site. This one. and that was wrong. IN Getting Started, he says:"Obviously this will only be useful if you have already stored passwords in the password manager." I'd say it's EQUALLY OBVIOUS that you have to tell us how. I rate this as JUNK

Reacting to this review I added the following section to my post-installation instructions:

..., so hopefully this also going to be helpful for people new to the concept of storing Passwords in Firefox.

thanks for using QuickPasswords!
